The Information Ministry has updated its list of “extremist materials”. It now includes books by Stanislau Shushkevich and Vintsuk Viačorka, a book of quotes by Sviatlana Alexievich, and songs based on poems by Larysa Hienijuš.
The updated list includes:

The Belarusian authorities regularly use extremism-related accusations to target political opponents and dissent more broadly.
