Number of People Employed in Belarusian Economy Rises Again in March

In March, 4.1809 million people were employed in the Belarusian economy. This is 9,700 more than in February. The figure has now increased for the second consecutive month.

A year earlier, employment also rose in March. As a result, compared with March 2025, the number of people employed in the economy increased by 34,700.

However, compared with December 2019, the number of people employed in the economy has decreased by 154,100. At that time, 4.335 million people were employed.
