Russia’s Oreshnik missile contains around 100 components manufactured in Belarus, according to RBC-Ukraine, citing Vladyslav Vlasiuk, an adviser to the President of Ukraine on sanctions policy.
Speaking today, he presented fragments of the Oreshnik missile and the Banderol cruise missile. According to Vlasiuk, the Oreshnik contains more than 1,000 Russian-made components and around 100 Belarusian-made ones.
Vlasiuk stressed that most of the components were manufactured in 2023 and 2024, although some date from 2025. He said Russia is now capable of producing Oreshnik missiles almost entirely without foreign-made components.
The Ukrainian presidential adviser also showed what he said was the approximate design of the missile’s kinetic payload. It contains 36 striking elements, believed to be made of tungsten.
