Number of Employed in the Economy Falls by 2,400 in November

In November, 4.1542 million people were employed in Belarus’s economy. This is 2,400 fewer than in October. It should be recalled that employment increased by 5,600 people in October. In September, employment declined, while in August it had increased.

In November last year, employment growth was observed. As a result, compared with November 2024, the number of people employed in the economy was higher by 33,700. The year-on-year employment indicator continues to show growth.

However, compared with December 2019, the number of people employed in the economy decreased by 180,800. At that time, 4.335 million people were employed in the economy.
