Switzerland’s new ambassador, Stefan Estermann, has arrived in Belarus.
“My wife and I received a very warm welcome and immediately felt at home here. I am looking forward to starting my new work, meeting interesting people and engaging in conversations,” Estermann said in a video published by the embassy.
Stefan Estermann has worked for Switzerland’s Federal Department of Foreign Affairs since 1996. He has served in Ukraine and Russia and was ambassador to Croatia and Greece. He speaks German, French, English, Czech and Russian.
