Migrants Continue To Target Lithuanian And Latvian Borders But Not Poland

Migration activity on the Belarusian border with European Union countries continues to increase.

On Tuesday, migrants attempted to cross into Lithuania and Latvia. Lithuanian authorities prevented 17 crossing attempts, while Latvia recorded 49. At the same time, the situation on the border with Poland remains calm. Polish border guards said there were no attempts to cross the border illegally on Tuesday.

A similar situation was observed on Monday. Lithuania turned back 34 migrants in a single day. There were fewer attempts in Latvia, but Poland also reported no border violations.
