A 28-year-old man killed a woman and then died by suicide in Minsk.
According to information released by the Investigative Committee, a conflict broke out between the man and the 24-year-old woman on the afternoon of June 9. During the argument, the man attacked the woman with scissors and a knife.
She died at the scene. The man subsequently died by suicide.
Police and emergency medical services were called by a neighbour who heard cries for help.
A criminal case has been opened under the article covering murder (Article 139 of the Criminal Code).
