A man in Minsk damaged a parking barrier after failing to wait for it to open, the Minsk City Executive Committee’s Main Internal Affairs Directorate reported. A representative of a Minsk-based company contacted police in the city’s Central District after discovering that the barrier at a parking facility had been damaged.
Police identified the suspect as a 39-year-old installation worker from the Mahilyow region. He had traveled to Minsk on business and, instead of waiting for the barrier to open, lifted the structure by hand. He then got back into his vehicle and drove away.
The damage amounted to approximately 500 Belarusian rubles and will be compensated by the suspect. A criminal case has been opened on hooliganism charges.
