Belarusian Health Ministry Reports Improvement in Condition of Patients Injured in Bryansk Region

Belarus’ Ministry of Health has provided an update on the condition of children and adults injured in Russia’s Bryansk region. According to the ministry’s June 20 update, the children receiving treatment at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Pediatric Surgery are in stable condition and showing positive progress.

The child who underwent surgery on June 19 remains in intensive care in satisfactory condition. The adult patient has been transferred from intensive care to a regular hospital ward, and his condition is stable.

The ministry said that all injured patients are receiving comprehensive high-tech medical care and that the situation remains under its supervision.

A bus carrying Belarusian children traveling to the Russian resort city of Gelendzhik came under what was reported to be a drone attack in Russia’s Bryansk region on June 17. A woman accompanying the group was killed, while eight people, including six children, were injured. Moscow says the bus was attacked by a Ukrainian drone. Kyiv rejects the accusation and describes the incident as an information provocation.
