Aliaksandr Lukashenka has traveled to Bishkek, where a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) marking the 25th anniversary of its founding will be held on September 1.
According to Lukashenka’s press service, speaking at a meeting of the Council of Heads of State, he will outline his position on the SCO’s areas of work and present proposals for its further development and strengthening its status on the international stage.
Today, Lukashenka will also attend the opening ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games.
He is also scheduled to hold meetings with foreign counterparts on the sidelines of the summit.
