On December 29, the Ministry of Finance carried out another exchange of eurobonds for Belarusian government bonds in the amount of $9.4 million.
Eurobonds maturing on June 29, 2027 (Belarus-2027, XS1634369224 / US07737JAA16) were exchanged for government bonds of issue No. 355 (ISIN BYM000003053) and transferred to the accounting infrastructure of Russia’s National Settlement Depository for crediting to the accounts of holders of the Belarus-2027 eurobonds.
The exchange was carried out for 194 holders who passed verification at the Republican Central Securities Depository of Belarus.
As part of the exchange, previously accrued interest income on the eurobonds is paid, subject to confirmation by holders of their ownership rights to these securities on the relevant income payment dates.
