The Kupalle-themed weekend event scheduled for June 28 at the Dukorski Maentak museum complex near Minsk has been cancelled. The organizers announced the cancellation on social media without providing an explanation.

Visitors who purchased tickets online through BezKassira have been advised to request refunds through their personal accounts. Reservations for the complex’s shuttle service will be cancelled automatically. The venue itself will remain open on June 28 and operate as usual, offering regular guided tours.

“Dukorski Maentak continues to welcome all visitors for guided tours, walks through its 200-year-old park, and enjoyable leisure activities across the complex’s 25-hectare grounds from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.,” the complex said on social media.

The cancellation comes amid ongoing scrutiny from regulatory authorities. In late May, Dukorski Maentak attracted attention following a social media controversy involving its animal enclosure after one visitor complained about the condition of the animals. An inspection subsequently found no violations related to animal welfare, concluding that the conditions met established requirements.

However, authorities identified shortcomings in waste management practices and requested documentation concerning the registration of wild animals. Over the course of several days, the complex was inspected by four national and local government agencies.
