A drone struck the Moscow Oil Refinery, according to Moscow Mayor Siarhei Sabyanin.
“One of the drones damaged a facility at the Moscow Oil Refinery. There are no casualties. Emergency services are working at the scene,” he said.
A fire broke out at the site where the drone crashed.
Earlier, Sabyanin said that air defence forces had destroyed 25 drones heading toward Moscow.
Russia’s Defence Ministry said that a total of 172 Ukrainian drones had been intercepted and destroyed overnight over the territory of 14 Russian regions.
The Moscow Oil Refinery is located in the Kapotnya district of Moscow. It is owned by Gazprom Neft and specialises in fuel production. The refinery has the capacity to process 11 million tonnes of oil per year.

Russia’s Emergencies Ministry said the fire had been contained.
“The fire on the territory of the Moscow Oil Refinery has been promptly localised. Work is currently continuing to eliminate the consequences of the blaze. There is no threat of the fire spreading,” the ministry said.
