Coordination Council Launches “Try Slany” Platform Ahead Of Elections

The Coordination Council is launching the “Try Slany” platform for election campaigning. The platform will feature comprehensive information about candidates, their programmes, and discussions.

The tryslany.com platform was developed by the team of Pavel Liber. The developers say it can be used safely in Belarus.

“We planned in advance for the platform to function within Belarus. So that people in Belarus can use the resource with relative safety — and I always emphasize: relative — in addition to the standard link tryslany.com, we are launching a mirror on Google Cloud. If people in Belarus follow this link, use the platform, and then clear their history and close tabs, everything should be fine,” said Daniil Harkavy, a representative of the “Try Slany” platform and the “New Belarus” team.

“Try Slany” has been created as a politically neutral platform. Any Belarusian organization or initiative can create its own office on the platform and share information about its activities. Electoral actors participating in the elections can publish their programmes, present members of their lists, create events, polls, and feedback forms with AI moderation.

The developers state that the platform does not collect any personal data. It can be used anonymously without registration, while leaving a comment requires minimal authorization via email.

It should be recalled that elections to the Coordination Council will take place on May 11–17.
