A Belarusian citizen working for a construction company was killed in Baku, Azerbaijan, on June 20. Another Belarusian citizen was injured and hospitalized.
“At approximately 3:00 p.m. on June 20, a Belarusian citizen was killed in Azerbaijan while carrying out construction work in Baku for a local construction company after falling from a tower structure. Another Belarusian citizen was injured and admitted to hospital,” the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said.
Relatives of the deceased and his authorized representative contacted the Belarusian Embassy in Azerbaijan. Belarusian diplomats assisted with the expedited preparation of the necessary documents and petitioned the relevant Azerbaijani authorities to facilitate the repatriation of the body.
