A group of teenagers was swimming in a body of water near the village of Klimavichy when they noticed that one of them had drowned.
On June 21, a 16-year-old resident of Minsk arrived with friends to relax at an artificial reservoir near the village of Klimavichy in the Minsk District. At around 6 p.m., his friends realized he was no longer on the shore. They initially tried to find him themselves before calling the Emergency Situations Ministry.
Rescuers discovered the body 50 meters from the shore at a depth of three meters, the Investigative Committee reported.
Authorities established that the artificial reservoir where the teenagers had been swimming is an officially designated swimming area.
