Weather Balloon Carrying Belarusian Cigarettes Lands in Latvia

On June 6, Latvian border guards discovered a weather balloon in Augšdaugava Municipality.

Attached to the balloon was a package containing 20,000 Belarusian-made NZ Gold cigarettes. A criminal investigation has been launched, the Latvian Border Guard reported.
