A total of 147 combat clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported. During the day, Russia used 7,704 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,021 strikes on populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops, including 12 strikes using multiple launch rocket systems.
The most intense fighting was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 28 assaults, and in the Huliaipole direction, where 27 attacks were reported.
Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed that Ukraine violated the ceasefire 8,970 times and that Russia responded “symmetrically.”
It should be recalled that the United States announced a ceasefire regime for May 9, 10, and 11, as well as a 1,000-for-1,000 prisoner exchange between Ukraine and Russia. Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the introduction of a three-day silence regime and signed a decree “On Holding a Parade in the City of Moscow.”
