A delegation of the Belarusian government led by Prime Minister Aliaksandr Turchyn has departed for an official visit to Kazakhstan. The trip will last two days.
Talks are planned with Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov. A number of international documents are expected to be signed.
Aliaksandr Turchyn will visit Kazakhstan’s Digital Government Support Center and the Astana Hub International Technopark of IT Startups.
“One of the main issues, and probably the key one during our visit, is the further development of cooperation in the field of mechanical engineering. There are a number of joint ventures currently operating in Kazakhstan. These are joint projects with our key engineering flagships — MTZ, Homselmash, MAZ, and BelAZ. Therefore, further intensification of this cooperation is probably the main goal of our visit,” Turchyn said on Monday, announcing the trip.
