Aggressive Migrants Attempted to Cross the Belarus-Poland Border

Polish border guards recorded 25 attempted illegal border crossings between Friday and Sunday. In one incident, a group of migrants behaved aggressively.

According to the Podlasie Border Guard Unit, nine people attempted to cross the Volkushanka River on Friday. The attempt was prevented.

A short time later, a group of 16 people tried to climb over the border fence. The migrants behaved aggressively, throwing branches at the Polish patrol. Most of the group retreated back into Belarus, while the remaining migrants were detained immediately after crossing the border.

In another incident, one person attempted to cross the border but retreated back into Belarus after a patrol arrived.
