Belarusian Prime Minister Aliaksandr Turchyn said that during recent meetings with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, a number of issues had been resolved. According to him, the solutions reached were positive and mutually beneficial.
“There was an opportunity to discuss the entire range of Belarusian-Russian relations and the issues that arise between us. We made a number of specific decisions. Just yesterday, our specialists were in Moscow following up on our agreements, and yesterday evening Mikhail Vladimirovich and I spoke again by phone. In principle, we resolved a whole range of issues, one could say, positively and on mutually beneficial terms”, Turchyn said, without specifying which issues he was referring to.
Earlier today, Turchyn delivered a report to Aliaksandr Lukashenka. Lukashenka had asked about the existence of any problems in relations with Russia ahead of his meeting with Vladimir Putin.
“At the next meeting with Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, they will once again discuss the entire scope of bilateral relations. But, as our president says, the governments have tried to ensure that there are as few issues as possible left for the presidents to discuss”, Turchyn added.
