Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya met with former Polish President Lech Wałęsa, one of the leaders of the Solidarity movement, in Gdańsk.
“We discussed Belarus, Ukraine, and how to keep fighting tyranny without losing hope. Poland’s story reminds us that dictatorships will fall when people remain united,” she wrote on X about the meeting.
Tsikhanouskaya is in Gdańsk to take part in the Ukraine Recovery Conference.
