State Control Committee Finds 14 Unused Cars At District Authorities

The State Control Committee found that 14 cars purchased for district executive committees in the Homiel Region had remained unused for more than two years.

The vehicles were acquired for local authorities, but since October 2023 the committees have been serviced by a specialized state transport organization with its own fleet. As a result, the executive committees were not allowed to use the purchased cars.

“Following the proposal of the State Control Committee, local authorities identified municipal and agricultural enterprises to which the vehicles were transferred for use in December 2025,” the committee said.

It was noted that among the 14 vehicles were four Geely Emgrand cars manufactured in 2020, for which more than 120,000 Belarusian rubles were spent from the budget.
