The start of elections to the Coordination Council has been postponed to 10 p.m. Minsk time on May 11. The end of voting remains unchanged — midnight from May 17 to 18, the Coordination Council’s press service reports.

Pavel Liber said the additional time was needed for more thorough preparations for checking the security of the voting. According to him, the team currently sees no security threats but wants to double-check everything.

The reason was doubts raised in a “Nasha Niva” report regarding Sumsub, the company responsible for voter verification — checking passport data, photographs and other information.
