The London-based Skaryna Press has completed editing a Belarusian translation of the famous (and only) novel by Oscar Wilde, “The Picture of Dorian Gray.” Only a little remains before the book can be sent to print.
This classic text has never before been published in Belarusian. The translation is based on the uncensored version, which was published in English only in 2011.
To bring the publication to print, support is needed — 1,500 euros to cover costs related to preparing the book. Nearly 700 euros have already been raised.
All donors will receive an electronic version of the book, and those who contribute more than £20 (approximately 24 euros or 27 U.S. dollars) will also receive a printed copy. With their consent, the names of donors will be printed in the book.
