Belarus’ Ministry of Information has updated its list of “extremist materials.”
The list includes:
- Facebook pages Kaciaryna Vadanosava, “Ales Karnienka,” “Aleh Draba,” “Ihar Kruhleu,” and the “Elections Belarus” community,
- Telegram channels Aryan Renaissance, Spadar Siarzhuk, Alex Grape, and Max Grape,
- the editorial Telegram account of Nasha Niva, nn_editor,
- the Telegram bots “Dissidentby.com — Help for Political Prisoners” and Alexander.Friedman_bot,
- Instagram accounts hierascanka and “1000belarus,”
- the website “TAKT: Tactfully About the Main” — tactum.io.
Belarusian authorities regularly use accusations of extremism to target political opponents and dissent more broadly.
