Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhankou met with Zimbabwean Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Sheillah Chikomo.
The Foreign Ministry said the sides reviewed the results of the second round of political consultations, which took place yesterday. They discussed the implementation of joint projects in industry, agriculture, education and healthcare.
Ryzhankou and Chikomo also discussed preparations for the second meeting of the Joint Permanent Commission on Cooperation, which is planned to be held in Minsk in 2026.
The Zimbabwean delegation, led by Chikomo, also visited the Hi-Tech Park. Residents of the park, including “Electronic Economy,” “ENEKA” and “Algimed Techno,” presented solutions that are already ready to enter the African market. The solutions cover the digitalization of public administration, medicine and the agricultural sector.
