Ryzhankou Discusses Investment Projects with UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade

Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhankou met with UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.

The parties discussed the Belarus-UAE trade and economic agenda, the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level, and the progress of specific investment projects. They noted their mutual interest in increasing trade turnover, expanding investment cooperation, and developing collaboration in logistics, high technology and food security.

The two officials also welcomed the growing investment activity of the UAE in Belarus, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service reported.

As previously reported, Belarusian Prime Minister Aliaksandr Turchyn also met with the UAE minister. Al Zeyoudi said the parties had discussed the implementation and ratification of bilateral agreements signed last year and expressed hope that they would fully enter into force by the end of 2026. Among the projects discussed were investments in the Northern Waterfront development, telecommunications, food security, a data center, poultry production and trade.
