Bellegprom Seeks to Become a Supplier to the Vietnamese Military

Bellegprom enterprises presented their products to a Vietnamese military delegation. Representatives of the Vietnam People’s Army are visiting Belarus. The previous day, they held meetings with their counterparts from the logistical support system of the Belarusian Armed Forces.

Bellegprom highlighted to the visitors the full localisation of production in Belarus, from fabrics and accessories to protective ballistic components.

According to the concern’s press service, the following enterprises presented their products:

  • OJSC Trud — protective clothing and footwear for defence purposes. The company produces 23,000 items per month and has the capacity to increase output.
  • Luch — boots with special ballistic properties designed to minimise foot injuries caused by stepping on a landmine. They were developed for extreme conditions, including tropical climates, high humidity and mountainous terrain.
  • OJSC Mahotex — fabrics.
  • OJSC Lenta — textile haberdashery products, as well as medical tapes and bandages made from 100% natural cotton.
  • OJSC Kamvol — wool and wool-blend products for ceremonial and everyday uniforms of commanding officers.

In addition, the Vietnamese military delegation is expected to visit food industry enterprises that supply products for the Belarusian army.
