Belarus’s Ministry of Education has summarized the results of the centralized examination in specialized subjects. A total of 58,850 11th-grade graduates took the tests.
A perfect score of 100 points was achieved by 638 students. Last year, the number was 623. The highest number of top scores was recorded in mathematics, with 190 students achieving 100 points, followed by social studies with 145 and English with 125. There was one perfect score in Chinese, nine in German and 15 in French.
Average scores exceeded 60 in most subjects: chemistry — 63.9, physics — 61.9, foreign language — 61.09, Belarusian history — 60.7, and biology — 60.1. The average score in mathematics was 55.4.
For the first time, all students who took the examination during the main testing period will receive free SMS notifications with their results. Their personal accounts on the institute’s website will also provide access to scores, scanned copies of completed papers and correct answers.
Graduates who were unable to take the examination for valid reasons will be able to sit it on the reserve dates of June 20 and June 22.
