Russia Bans Imports Of Slutsk Sour Cream

Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance has restricted imports of products from the Slutsk Cheese-Making Plant into Russia.

The company’s sour cream was found to have yeast-related non-compliance. The ban took effect on Sept. 9.

Enhanced laboratory controls have also been introduced for products from the Brest Interdistrict Trading Base unit of Kamenets, the ready-to-eat products production workshop of Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm OJSC, Pervyi Myasnoy LLC and the Slutsk Meat Processing Plant production site of Dzerzhinsky Agrocombine OJSC.
