Retail Turnover Rises 8.4% In First Eight Months

Retail turnover totaled 75.5 billion rubles in January-August. It increased by 8.4% compared with the same period last year, Belstat reported.

Retail turnover at trading organizations increased by 8.9% to 72.7 billion rubles.

Daily retail turnover per capita since the beginning of the year amounted to 34.2 rubles, which is 3 rubles more than in January-August 2025.

Wholesale turnover increased by 0.2% in the first eight months, to 121.1 billion rubles.

Catering turnover amounted to 5.3 billion rubles, up 1.8% from last year.
