Belarus and Russia Hold Inter-Ministerial Consultations

The latest Belarusian-Russian inter-ministerial consultations on current issues of pan-European security were held in Minsk on November 2.

The Belarusian delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Ihar Sakreta, while the Russian delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksandr Grushko.

The sides exchanged views on a broad range of issues concerning cooperation between Belarus and Russia within the OSCE, relations with the European Union and other European regional organisations.

“The sides confirmed the allied nature of relations between Belarus and Russia and agreed to continue close coordination of their actions, including within the OSCE, ahead of the 33rd meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Lugano, Switzerland.”, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reports.
