OSCE Special Envoy To Include Data On Transfer Of Ukrainian Children To Belarus In Official Report

Deputy head of the United Transitional Cabinet and head of the National Anti-Crisis Management Pavel Latushka met with OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Special Representative on the Return of Ukrainian Children Karina Odebrink.

The meeting took place at the initiative of the Swedish MP and special envoy. Assistance in organising it was provided by head of the Coordination Council delegation to PACE Alyaksandra Mamayeva.

Latushka presented data collected by the National Anti-Crisis Management. According to this information, more than 3,500 Ukrainian children were forcibly transferred to Belarus from occupied territories of Ukraine — Kherson, Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions. According to him, these actions were carried out on the basis of a personal written decision by Alyaksandr Lukashenka, adopted within the framework of the Union State.

Karina Odebrink stressed the importance of reflecting the role of the Lukashenka regime in committing a war crime and said that the materials provided by the National Anti-Crisis Management would be included in her report. The report is expected to be presented at the next session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, the organisation’s press service said.
