The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the National Export Support Centre of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry have been designated as organisations responsible for comprehensive non-financial support for the foreign economic activity of Belarusian business entities. The relevant resolution was signed by Prime Minister Alyaksandr Turchyn.
The tasks and functions of these organisations include:
The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been assigned 26 functions, while the National Export Support Centre of the Foreign Ministry has been assigned 20.
The National Export Support Centre is also responsible for direct interaction with business entities, the government and other state bodies and organisations in resolving issues related to foreign economic activity, including the promotion of goods and services on foreign markets, as well as expert support on removing barriers, exemptions and restrictions hindering their activities.
“Thus, the centre will serve as a single link between business and state bodies, making it possible to establish direct communication with business entities on a one-stop-shop basis in order to resolve problematic situations and provide consulting services to participants in foreign economic activity”, the government press service reports.
