The Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery in Russia’s Rostov region has suspended operations following a drone attack. Regional Governor Yury Slyusar said the facility was damaged.
The nature of the damage and the duration of the shutdown have not been disclosed.
The Novoshakhtinsk Petroleum Products Plant, with a designed annual crude oil processing capacity of up to 7.5 million tons, was commissioned in 2009. It has been targeted by drones several times.
