“Europe Cannot Afford to Lose Any Country.” Zelenskyy Responds to Tsikhanouskaya’s Congratulations

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded this morning on X to congratulations from foreign leaders on Ukraine’s Independence Day, which was marked yesterday. The Ukrainian president also responded to congratulations from Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.

“Europe cannot afford to lose any nation that seeks real independence. It is equally important that Belarus is not dragged into Russia’s cruel war and ultimately evolves into a democratic, open, and peaceful country. Ukraine is grateful to those Belarusians who, alongside Ukrainian soldiers, are defending our shared freedom“, he wrote, reposting yesterday’s message from Tsikhanouskaya, in which she wished the Ukrainian people victory.
