Belarus’s ambassador to Cuba Vitaly Barchuk met with First Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba Carlos Luis Jorge Méndez.
The sides discussed the current state and prospects of Belarusian-Cuban trade and economic cooperation, the implementation of existing agreements in industry, agriculture and food supply, as well as possible dates for the next meeting of the Belarusian-Cuban Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
The parties confirmed their readiness to expand existing mechanisms of cooperation and develop new ones, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reported.
