Three Drones Carrying Belarusian Cigarettes Intercepted in Lithuania

During the night of July 29, Lithuanian border guards intercepted three drones carrying contraband cigarettes that had crossed from Belarus.

The drones were detected in the Šalčininkai district and forced to land. Each was carrying two bundles of NZ Gold SuperSlims cigarettes. In total, officers seized 3,000 packs of cigarettes with an estimated value of €16,380, Lithuania’s State Border Guard Service said.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched.
