The Free Kupalaucy are opening their seventh independent season with premiere performances to be staged in Kraków, Wrocław and Warsaw.
The play “Minsk Sea” will be performed in Kraków on Sept. 15.
The production is inspired by the KGB informant database published by the Cyber Partisans in 2024. It tells the story of a deceased captain’s family, where almost everyone informed on one another, albeit for different reasons.
Playwright: Illia Prudnik, director: Wojciech Urbański, music and songs by: Liavon Volski.
The play “Next Stop” will be performed in Wrocław on Sept. 25 and in Warsaw on Sept. 26 and 27. The production is directed by Aliaksandr Hartsuyeu and is based on the works of Kamila Tsen.
The main characters — Zinaida Yuryeuna, an ordinary public transport ticket inspector and devoted patriot of her country, and her loyal assistant Harkavy — investigate a mysterious murder.
