Minsk Airport to Increase Number of Parking Spaces

A project to expand the P3 parking lot is underway at Minsk National Airport. Once completed, the number of parking spaces will increase by 884, the airport’s press service said.

The project provides for the creation of 542 additional parking spaces for airport visitors and 342 spaces for service vehicles. The work will be carried out on a 3.39-hectare site.

The press service said the expansion is aimed at developing the infrastructure of the forecourt area, increasing the number of parking spaces available for passengers’ vehicles and providing additional parking for airport employees.

The new parking lot will include six spaces for people with disabilities. At pedestrian crossings, curbs will be built without height differences, while sidewalks and pedestrian paths will be fitted with durable, hard and slip-resistant surfaces.
