KGB Declares Diver Prize and Belarusian National Coalition “Extremist Formations”

Belarus’ KGB has declared the Diver Prize and the Belarusian National Coalition to be “extremist formations”. The decisions were made on April 2 and March 31. Today, the Interior Ministry added information about them to its list.

In connection with the Diver Prize formation, the name of Andrei Lapitski is mentioned, along with a Telegram channel and chat.

According to the KGB, the Belarusian National Coalition formation is linked to Mikalai Bandarenka, Maksim Barodich, Kira Bayarenka, Siarhei Druhakau, Aliaksandr Yargulievich, Volha Karpushonak, Mikita Kryutsou, Mikhail Kucherau, Katsiaryna Kuchku, Alla Martsinovich, Illia Mironau, Siarhei Pushnou, Tatsiana Radzevich, Yury Rudz, Natallia Fidler and Alena Filatava. The list also includes a number of Telegram resources.

It should be recalled that extremism-related charges are used in Belarus to target political opponents and dissent more broadly.
