Belarusian Railway continues construction of a rail line that will connect Minsk with the Great Stone Industrial Park and the airport.
Construction of the first phase began in September 2025. It is scheduled to be completed in August 2028.
“Construction and installation work is currently underway at all sections of the project, with the main work concentrated on the Kalodzishchy–Haradzishcha section. The earthwork has already been completed, as have the assembly of the rail-and-sleeper grid for the third main track and the installation of turnouts. Work is underway to install overhead contact network structures and railway automation systems, as well as to build the new Sadovy stop”, Belarusian Railway said.
Further work will require adjustments to the train schedule on the Minsk–Orsha section.
“A number of trains will operate according to modified schedules and routes, while some will be canceled. The changes will apply during the following periods: Aug. 24-28, Sept. 7-26, Sept. 28-Oct. 7, 2026, as well as from Oct. 8, 2026, until the introduction of the new 2026/2027 train schedule”, Belarusian Railway explained.
