The Information Ministry has updated its list of “extremist materials”. Social media accounts belonging to Belarusian media outlets and journalists have been added to the register.
Among those included is the Facebook account of the Pozirk news agency. Also added were Facebook pages belonging to Nasta Rouda, Hanna Liubakova, and Partyzanka co-founder Hanna Matsiyeuskaya.
Other additions to the list include:
- the Facebook community “Hey Warsaw•News”,
- the Facebook accounts “Yuhasia Kaliada”, “Aliaksandr Kavalenka”, and “Right Livelihood”,
- the YouTube channel “InshyYa”,
- the Telegram sticker packs “GroßDeutchland Reich” (52 stickers) and “VeIUkг bу” (88 stickers),
- the Instagram accounts “AliaksVendetti”, “bialevich_m”, “yauheni.bury”, “allekosanja”, and “rightlivelihood”,
- the TikTok account “Mikola”,
- the YouTube channel “Sergei” and the videos posted on it: “Belarusian Resistance for a Free State!”, “The Stalin Line”, “Road to Kurapaty”, “Blood and Ashes of Drazhna”, “An Almost Forgotten Forest”, “Kurapaty”, “History of Belarus! S. Bulak-Balakhovich!”, “Belarus Under German Occupation”, “Rastsislau Lapitski! Hero of the National Resistance!”, “The Polish Army on the Territory of Belarus”, “Brothers by Blood! NKVD=GESTAPO”, “The Cursed and Forgotten! Part 1”, and “The Cursed and Forgotten! Part 2”.
It should be recalled that in Belarus, accusations of extremism are used to combat opponents of Lukashenka and dissent more broadly.
