An orange weather alert has been issued in Belarus for Aug. 3 due to high temperatures. According to the forecast, daytime temperatures in the southern parts of the country are expected to reach 30–33°C.
Weather conditions on Aug. 3 will be influenced mainly by a high-pressure system. Skies will be partly clear, with dry conditions expected across most of the country. Only isolated areas of the Homiel region may see brief showers and thunderstorms during the day.
Patchy fog is forecast overnight and in the morning. Winds will be light to moderate and variable, becoming gusty during thunderstorms.
Overnight temperatures will range from 9°C in the northwest to 21°C in the southeast. Daytime highs are expected to reach 23–29°C across most of the country and 30–33°C in southern Belarus.
Atmospheric pressure is expected to remain largely unchanged.
