Smoke Reported at Euroopt Store in Orsha District

Smoke was reported at a Euroopt store in the agricultural town of Smaliany in the Orsha District after an electrical outlet and wiring connected to a refrigeration unit caught fire.

The incident occurred on Aug. 2. Before emergency crews arrived, store employees extinguished the fire using a fire extinguisher. No one was injured, and there was no need to evacuate customers or staff. The store continued operating as normal.

Five emergency vehicles were dispatched to the scene, the Emergency Situations Ministry said.
