New Coordination Council to Hold First Session on June 19

The date of the first session of the fourth convocation of the Coordination Council has been set. It will take place on the evening of June 19.

As the Coordination Council announced, the powers of the council’s delegates will come into effect from the date of the first session. The inaugural meeting will be chaired by Yury Hubarevich.

The Coordination Council elections were held in May. Following the vote, eight electoral groups secured representation in the council:

  • “Latushka Coalition and the For Freedom Movement” (34 seats);
  • “European Choice” (11 seats);
  • “Stop Being Afraid” (5 seats);
  • “Volia Movement” (10.41%);
  • “United Civic Platform” (6.77%);
  • “Nastup” (8 seats);
  • “Your Voice” (4 seats);
  • “Belarusians of Action” (4 seats).
