Homiel Customs continues its campaign against the import of goods from Russia. In recent days, customs officers prevented three attempts to import goods for which there was no information confirming customs clearance when they entered the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

The operation was carried out on the border with Russia. Vehicles belonging to Belarusian entrepreneurs were stopped and inspected. Customs officers discovered 655 items of clothing, footwear and bedding sets. The goods were valued at more than 33,000 Belarusian roubles. No documents for the goods were provided.

Administrative proceedings have been initiated.

The State Customs Committee has been regularly publishing reports on similar operations in recent months.
