Belarus’s real disposable monetary incomes increased by 8% in January-April compared with the same period last year. The pace of growth continues to accelerate. At the end of the first quarter, real incomes were up 7.6%. For comparison, the indicator rose by 9.6% over the whole of 2025.
The official socio-economic development forecast for 2026, approved by a decree of Aliaksandr Lukashenka, envisages a 4.8% increase in household incomes.
The structure of monetary incomes in January-April 2026 was as follows:
The share of wages and salaries in total income increased, while the shares of all other income sources declined.
Real disposable monetary incomes are defined as monetary incomes minus taxes, duties and contributions, adjusted for the consumer price index for goods and services.
