A foreign national was detained at Minsk airport after attempting to travel with a forged Russian passport. He was trying to board a flight to Baku.
According to the State Border Committee, the incident occurred on June 13. Border guards identified signs that the document had been forged. An examination confirmed their suspicions. The passport was entirely counterfeit.
The foreign national was placed in a temporary detention facility.
